Measuring Your Size

1. Wrist Measurement (Bracelets)

• Wrap a flexible tape measure (or a strip of paper) around the fullest part of your wrist.
• Note the measurement in millimetres (mm) or centimetres (cm).
• For an accurate fit, add 8–12 mm (0.3–0.5 in) to your wrist circumference to allow for comfort and movement.

2. Neck Measurement (Necklaces)

• Place the tape at the base of your neck (where a choker would sit) or at the desired drop point.
• Record your neck circumference.
• Decide how you want the necklace to rest—snug (choker), at the collarbone (princess), or lower—and select the corresponding length.

Standard Bracelet Lengths

• Add 8–12 mm to wrist size for bead spacing and stretch cord give.
• For heavier or larger beads, consider +2–4 mm extra length to ensure easy on/off.

Bead Size Recommendations

• Delicate, feminine styles: 4 mm – 6 mm beads
• Everyday wear: 6 mm – 8 mm beads
• Statement pieces: 10 mm – 12 mm beads (or larger)
• Mixed-size designs: Combine 6 mm accent beads with a single 12 mm focal bead for contrast.

Standard Necklace Lengths

• For pendants, subtract ~10 cm from your preferred drop length to allow for the pendant bail.

Custom Fit Tips

• Elastic vs. Clasp: Elastic bracelets require less extra room; metal-clasp designs need a smoother on/off margin (add ~12 mm).
• Layering: If you plan to stack multiple bracelets, size each slightly smaller to avoid bulk.
• Adjustable Clasps: Offering a 5–10 cm extender chain on necklaces allows customers to wear one style at multiple lengths.
• Professional Sizing: Encourage customers to visit a jeweller for precise measurements if they are between standard sizes.

Care & Adjustment

• Re-stringing: Over time, elastic can stretch. Recommend re-stringing every 6–12 months for frequent wear.
• Bead Wear: Larger beads can abrade the elastic faster—adjust sizing accordingly or choose a sturdier cord material.
