Terms of Service

Welcome, and thank you for your interest in Mystilink. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Mystilink's desktop application, website at www.mystilink.com, APIs, documentation, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Please also read our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, disclose, and process personal data.

If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of an entity, you represent that you have the legal authority to bind that entity.

1.1 Provision of Access. Mystilink provides AI-assisted metaphysics guidance, desktop tooling, account management, licensing, Newton LLM (official hosted inference and prepaid balance), and related features. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Mystilink grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the Service.

1.2 User Content. You may provide inputs to the Service ("Inputs") and receive responses, suggestions, or outputs ("Outputs") based on those Inputs (Inputs and Outputs are collectively "Content"). You represent that you have all rights necessary for us to process Inputs under these Terms. Mystilink may use Content to provide the Service, comply with law, enforce our policies, and keep the Service safe.

1.3 AI Limitations. Outputs are generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your situation. Mystilink does not provide professional medical, legal, financial, or other regulated advice. These limitations also apply to Newton LLM Outputs. You are solely responsible for evaluating Outputs before relying on them.

1.4 Acceptable Use. You may not: (i) reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code or models from the Service except where prohibited restrictions are unlawful; (ii) use the Service to violate applicable law or third-party rights; (iii) scrape, harvest, or bulk extract data from the Service; (iv) interfere with or disrupt the Service; (v) resell or sublicense the Service except as expressly permitted; (vi) use the Service to develop a competing product through model extraction or similar attacks; (vii) upload sensitive regulated data unless we explicitly support that use case; or (viii) abuse Newton LLM, including without limitation artificial volume generation, model extraction, reselling or redistributing inference capacity, bypassing metering, rate limits, or balance checks, or sharing account credentials to evade billing.

1.5 Beta Features. Mystilink may offer preview or beta features identified as such. Beta features are provided "as is," may change or be discontinued at any time, and are excluded from service-level commitments.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction if higher, to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that your use complies with applicable law.

Most features require an account. You agree to provide accurate registration information and to keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly at support@mystilink.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

4.1 Paid Services. Certain features require payment. Prices are shown before checkout. Unless required by law, fees are non-refundable.

4.2 Subscriptions and Licenses. Paid plans may include recurring billing or one-time license purchases (for example, device activation entitlements). Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled at least 24 hours before renewal. Device and activation limits depend on the plan you purchase.

4.3 Newton Prepaid Balance. Newton LLM uses a prepaid wallet: after you top up, your account holds a spending balance denominated in U.S. dollars (USD), which is reduced based on actual inference usage. The balance is prepaid spending credit, is not withdrawable, and—unless required by law or we agree in writing—is non-refundable and does not have a fixed expiry date (unless we notify you otherwise). Top-ups are typically completed via our website or account dashboard through Stripe (or another payment channel we designate). If your balance is insufficient, we may refuse or interrupt Newton LLM requests.

4.4 Payment Processing. Payments are processed by Stripe and subject to Stripe's terms and privacy policy. Mystilink is not responsible for payment processor errors outside our reasonable control.

4.5 Delinquent Accounts. We may suspend paid access (including licensed features and Newton LLM) if charges fail or amounts remain unpaid.

5.1 Service Description. Newton LLM is Mystilink's official large-language-model access: after you sign in with a valid Mystilink account, you may use hosted models we provide. Your inference requests are routed through the Mystilink Chat Gateway to upstream AI infrastructure we select, and Mystilink meters and bills usage.

5.2 Relationship to BYOK. You may still bring your own vendor API keys ("BYOK") so the desktop app connects directly to third-party model providers. The BYOK path is governed by those third parties' terms and privacy policies; Mystilink does not proxy inference on that path and does not host your third-party keys. Newton LLM and BYOK may coexist and do not replace each other.

5.3 Eligibility and Authentication. Using Newton LLM requires a valid Mystilink account. At this stage, related interfaces are called with account login credentials (for example, a JWT). You may not share, lend, or publicly disclose such credentials, and you may not bypass metering, authentication, or security controls.

5.4 Metering and Charges. We debit your Newton prepaid balance based on actual inference usage (for example, input/output tokens and pricing then published). If a request fails, is interrupted, or an upstream error occurs, usage that was successfully metered may still be charged. When balance is insufficient, we may return an error (for example, HTTP 402) and refuse service. Displayed currency, model catalog, and unit prices are as shown at checkout, in the product UI, or in the model catalog, and may change.

5.5 Upstream Dependency. Mystilink may change, add, or remove upstream providers and routes, and does not guarantee third-party upstream availability, latency, or SLA. Upstream outages or changes may make Newton LLM temporarily unavailable.

5.6 Changes and Discontinuation. We may adjust the Newton model catalog, pricing, feature scope, or access methods. Material changes will follow the "Changes to These Terms" process (updated date and posting on this page). Continued use constitutes acceptance.

5.7 Future API Keys (optional note). We may in the future offer customer-facing Newton API keys (for example, keys prefixed with mnk_). If that feature launches, we will describe key management and security responsibilities separately. Until then, Newton LLM is available only through account sign-in.

Mystilink and its licensors retain all rights in the Service. You retain rights in your Inputs. To the extent Mystilink owns rights in Outputs generated specifically for you, Mystilink assigns those rights to you, subject to these Terms and applicable law.

The Service may integrate with third-party sign-in, payment, analytics, or model providers.

  • BYOK: Third-party model services you choose and connect to directly are governed by their own terms; Mystilink is not responsible for those third-party services you choose to use.
  • Newton LLM: Mystilink selects AI infrastructure and model providers to deliver hosted inference; those providers process data necessary to perform inference on our behalf, as further described in the Privacy Policy. You do not independently select the upstream vendor for the Newton path.

We may send service-related emails and, where permitted, product updates. You can opt out of promotional messages using unsubscribe instructions in those emails.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and post the revised Terms on this page. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. Upon termination, provisions that by nature should survive will remain in effect. Unused Newton prepaid balance upon termination is handled under Section 4.3 unless law requires otherwise.

THE SERVICE AND OUTPUTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." MYSTILINK DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MYSTILINK WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO MYSTILINK FOR THE SERVICE IN THE SIX MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $100.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Mystilink's principal place of business, excluding conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections require otherwise.
